Events at Hillsborough Presbyterian Church

The Mission Commission will provide light refreshments and present a Panel Discussion on Sunday, October 4, at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. The topic will be - “Gun Violence: What Can We Do About It? The panel will strive to identify sensible alternatives for reducing gun violence.  Members of the panel will include Orange County Sherriff Charles Blackwood; Chip Carnathan, president of North Carolinians against Gun Violence; Kaaren Haldeman, representing Mom’s Demand Action for Gun Sense in America; our own Dr. Jarrett Barnhill representing the medical community; and a possible spokesperson from the gun community.
